Just Who is Grandma Farmer and How'd You Get That Name?

If you read my "PAGES" at the top of the page you will begin to learn who I am. I've been a stay-at-home mom for most of my adult life. I homeschooled all my children all the way through high school and beyond. My husband and I have Biological children, adopted children and fostered children. Basically, since becoming children of God ourselves our lives have revolved around children having worked with children through church youth groups and even being Children's Pastors. Both of us being over 60 we are now raising our infant grand daughter.

We grew up in the city but love the country having spent most of our lives living in the later. I love the lives that God has given us to live. It's not always been easy but, He's walked through it all with us.

We currently have 18 grandchildren and hope we are not done yet. We love them all even though it gets hard keeping up with them all at times. It was one of our son's children (Danny and Jenny), who dubbed us Grandma and Grandpa Farmer as a way to talk about his/her different sets of grandparents. The name stuck.
