House - 1st Floor

First Floor House Pictures

The main floor consists of a Living room with bay windows and foyer, large Formal Dining room, Office or 4th bedroom, full bathroom/laundry and Kitchen/Pantry.  The original house consisted of the rooms that are now the dining room and office.  The Dining room supports a huge bay window and there are french doors between the dining room and the office.  The floors are unstained maple but the woodwork is all oak from the remodel/addition.  The foyer boast thin oak and that is also under the carpet in the living room.  The flooring is covered with vinyl in the laundry/bath room.  When we remodeled the kitchen/pantry we discovered great wood floors which we stained the dark color of most of the house.

All the windows are new or newer.  We know that the kitchen/pantry and laundry/bathroom are well insulated in the roof and walls because we gutted these rooms and redid the electrical.  The plumbing in the bathroom is new fall 2014.

The beautiful woodwork alone would cost thousands to replace.  The front door is breath-taking and is protected by a newer screen door that was special ordered because of it's height. The stair way to the second floor are the most comfortable stairs I've ever climbed and are 4 feet wide.

There is the magnificent front porch that is 10 feet wide and set up to be an outdoor living space.  Additionally there is an enclosed back porch that is 4' x 10'.
